Volunteers Needed for YOUNG ENGINEERS SESSION!
Y.E.S! is a hands-on engineering event for 6th to 8th grade Girl Scouts and will take place on March 10, 2012. SWE members guide the girls through four modules on math, science and engineering topics, and the girls earn a scout badge. We need six additional volunteers, four to accompany each group of scouts on the event day and two to assist with the modules described below. All supplies and training are provided.

Speaking Opportunity at Futures High School in North Highlands
Jason Ebeling's Career Class is looking for anyone who is willing to share their work experience. He is extremely flexible and can accommodate as many speakers who are willing to come during the class time, which is Monday-Thursday, 1:09-2:10 pm. He would love to have a speaker a week. School is in session except the break during the last two weeks of December. This information came via Sacramento Advocates for Girl's Empowerment or SAGE.
